|Recommended: YesClean building and units. — Better than average finishes in units. New flooring, big kitchen with good cabinet storage. Thoughtful floor plan and beautiful windows. The exterior grounds are well maintained. Parking garage needs better lighting. Management staff is friendly and helpful.

|Recommended: YesParking — The only thing I’m worried about is that you don’t require parking passes and it’s a small lot so I feel like there’s going to be a day that I don’t have anywhere to park. Everything else is amazing.

|Recommended: YesThis is a beautiful place to live. — If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to call home, this is it. The residents are very warm but generally keep to themselves. I live between floors and can't hear people above or below me. The grounds are kept very well, and the common areas are lovely too. I rented here because I now work around the block, so the location is perfect. Very happy to call this home.

|Recommended: YesI've lived at Brownstone for 2 1 2 years and I truly enjoy it calling this place home. I appreciate Kyle who is on maintenance team, he is both professional and personable I've experienced quick responses for maintenance requests, always a plus. I also appreciate the investment in the common areas total cleaning and repainting of garage and other major improvements insuring that Brownstone remains a safe and great place to live.
|Recommended: YesOverall we have been very happy living at the Brownstone on Old Sauk, as it is a beautiful building in a great location, but proper maintenance is severely lacking. The garage floor is filthy from years of salty grime and dirt, and needs to be vacuumed and power washed with a professional cleaner or machine. I have recently sent numerous maintenance request for this issue. Floor is so dirty and dusty that sweeping is not an option, as that method was used a couple years ago, and the extreme dust set off fire alarm. Most of the painted parking lines and numbers are not visible.
